All Natural Soap | Oat + Lavender Artisan Soap

This soap and shampoo bar is scented with essential oils that have benefits for the face, including lavender essential oil, anchored with a middle, lightly woodsy note of cypress. There are two versions of this bar - one is very lightly scented and is good for children or sensitive noses, and a stronger version for lavender lovers. This bar would be excellent for normal to dry or aging skin. This bar is lightly exfoliating when used directly on skin, due to the oats, yet the oats also make it a very soothing bar.

Tallow, Coconut Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Oats, Essential Oil Blend, Manjinstha, Indigo, and/or alkanet.

VEGAN INGREDIENTS (in order of weight) 
~ All-Natural and Palm-Oil Free ~
Cocoa Butter, Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Essential Oil Blend, Alkanet. (no oats in the vegan version)

ABOUT OUR SOAP

This is an all-in-one shampoo and body bar! This soap is 100% natural and palm-oil free. We use a base of locally-obtained tallow to keep our environmental impact low. Many soaps use nut, fruit, vegetable or seed oils, that must be harvested, pressed, filtered, and shipped! The tallow is The tallow is purified and sourced from a woman-owned business and can make this bar last up to 5 weeks*! Coconut oil and castor oil complement the tallow, and give this bar a generous, cleansing lather. The high superfat (that's the extra oil left over after saponification!) percentage makes the soap highly conditioning, too.

TIPS FOR EXTENDING THE LIFE OF YOUR SOAP

Place your soap in a dish that drains (not flat on the tile or in a non-draining dish!) and ensure that it doesn't get wet between uses. This is optional, but it will definitely make your soap last longer. From experience and from what our customers say, one bar will last two people about 2-3 weeks, or an individual approximately 4-5 weeks. This will vary depending how you use it (washcloth? puffy scrubber? just the bar?) and how often you use it as a shampoo bar as well.
